Usually the NBA’s Christmas games include a variety of fun holiday inspired kicks but this year LeBron James will debut his Uninterrupted “More Than An Athlete” Lebron 17’s. LeBron has been very vocal about pushing this “more than an athlete” initiative and what a better way than to do it on Christmas versus the Clippers. Before the NBA Dunk Contest last night there was the NBA Developmental League Dunk Contest…. lets just say the NBA needs to develop a contest that features both the NBA and D-League guys because these guys can DUNK!! The contest highlights included many passes from the stands, 6’1 Ra’shad James’ windmill and a dunk over a sign, Thanasis Antetokounmpo who dunked over his NBA brother Giannis Antetokounmpo, Darren White’s sick reverse dunks, and Champion Tony Mitchell’s dunk over a fan doing a handstand!!
